Okay folks. I’ve mentioned this here before and I figured it was high time to bring it up again. A friend of mine – the very unique and awesome Tristan Lock – is currently in the middle of a cross-country trip on a longboard. The purpose of the trip is to raise green awareness, as well as funds for multiple sclerosis research. Two wonderful causes.

He’s in Colorado right now, having left the sweltering lands of Texas a bit earlier than previously planned. Last I read he’s around the Pike’s Peak region. Parts of the trip have been good, others not so much. He’s got a blog of his own – Long Way to Skate – where he’s posting pictures of the places he rides through and stories of the intriguing people he’s met. If you haven’t checked it out before, you should now. You can also make a donation to MS research while you’re at his blog. As we all know, a little encouragement can go a long way. I’d like to ask you all to send a note of “good on ya!” his way. It’ll only take a moment of your time, and it’s bound to help make those long miles on the longboard feel that much more worth it.
