Hey folks! I’m back from Atlanta (I technically got back VERY early Tuesday morning), and have started the process to recovery from this year’s convention. I had to work Tuesday morning, so I haven’t really had a chance to sit down, go through my notes, and figure out what to report on for this year, but I’m hoping to have a chance to start on that tonight. Not having a giant costume head to make, with an upcoming deadline looming on the horizon, really frees up your time to do other things!
For those of you who might be joining this blog recently, due to being handed a card at DragonCon…WELCOME! For those of you who have been reading for a while…WELCOME BACK!
In the upcoming posts, I’ll be talking about the convention, the costumes I saw, and the people I met. As promised to the folks who attended my panels, I’ll also be posting some resources and links for Native folklore and other cool stuff.
Oh, and by the way…chiropractors are magic! I went to see one late Wednesday afternoon, hoping he would be able to help me on the road to healing, so I wouldn’t be in agony while down in Atlanta. I wasn’t 100% right after, but I could walk and put my own shoes on, and even hold my cat for a while, which was a big deal. I had another appointment this morning before work, and another scheduled for Friday morning, and continue my efforts to work through this damn sciatica.
